TwitrisIf you tuitou much about the movement Occupy or about the Arab Spring, o site Twitris deve ter gravado suas messages. Segundo o Mashable, the service is designed to store information about social events for historical records.

The site brings together tuítes, articles, textos da Wikipedia e other conteúdos da internet que ajudam os leitores a entender um particular evento da história moderna. Related topics, hashtags, pictures and videos are also collected as historical evidence. The idea of Twitris was born in 2008, during the terrorist attack in Mumbai (India). Dr. Amit P. Sheth – Director of a research center in Dayton, in Ohio (United States) – e seus students resolveram desenvolver um app que analisasse em tempo real os tuítes para guardá-los como files da história mundial contemporânea.

“For the media, o site é uma ótima oportunidade de coletar informações sobre os eventos e monitorar a evolution dos acontecimentos através de múltiplas dimensões”, commented the creator.

For those who are interested, the Twitris can be accessed here.
