Microsoft reveals the structure of upcoming Windows

The computer giant Microsoft revealed this week the framework of the next version of the operating system Windows, the processor called “System on a Chip” (Rob), It is used in tablets and phones.

The new technology was presented in a press conference a day before the opening of the largest fair of Electronics of the world, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), in Las Vegas.

Software made by Microsoft is still in a phase of development, and the company reported that it works with other companies, as AMD, Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm, ARM and Texas Instruments.

During the presentation of Microsoft, Ballmer didn't say anything about the launch a device to connect TV and internet, as the Apple TV.

The Executive Director of the company said that Microsoft will continue to invest “aggressively” to improve and develop the system Windows Phone 7.

Ballmer also confirmed the success of the company's video game division 2010, Thanks to the income from Xbox 360 and the launch of Kinect, control device without masters which has sold more than eight million units since 4 November.
