“Brazilian SOUP” is withdrawn after pressure on Twitter

Censura na webWhen the project de lei norte-americano batizado de SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) came to the fore, million de internautas protestaram contra, using social networks and microblogs, causing its author the withdraw of vote. This week the story was repeated in Brazil and Mr Walter Feldman (PSDB-SP) was forced to withdraw a project this Tuesday (13/03), who had already earned the nickname “SOUP brasileiro”.

The project 3336/2012 proposed blocking, por determinação do administrador brasileiro de endereços da internet, of pages that had already been the target of complaints about copyright infringement or ownership.Walter Feldman, Deputy for PSDB-SP, author of the Bill dubbed “Brazilian SOUP”.

To receive criticism and charges via Twitter, Walter presented the application for withdrawal of the project. Also in the microblog, Mr warranted in English (“Estou respeitando a opinião mundial. I'm pulling out the congressional agenda project”) and in Portuguese (“And I have expressed my misconception already exited”).
